StopsDaily detailHanzhong City Museum (Ancient Hantai): The site of Liu Bang’s palace in Hanzhong; inside the museum, the Shimen Thirteen Scripts are a treasure in the history of calligraphy.
Baijiang Altar: The site where Liu Bang appointed Han Xin as a general, consisting of two earthen platforms and inscriptions.
Shimen Plank Road: The most dangerous section on the Baoxie Road; now a walkway has been built along the cliffside.
Zhuge Ancient Town and Dingjun Mountain: Located in Mian County, home to the Wuhou Tomb and Wuhou Temple here; can add the Three Kingdoms route.
Dining: Hanzhong hot noodles, vegetable tofu, and pickled water noodles.
Tip: The Qinling Mountains have a humid climate; always carry rain gear. The Shimen Plank Road has steps; if you have knee problems, you can just visit the museum.
