Destination Details
The name of Fenghuang comes from Shen Congwen, and also from itself: the Tuojiang River flows through the town, with stilted buildings on both sides, half of which are over the water. It is the junction of the Tujia and Miao ethnic groups in western Hunan, and it is also the most common ending point for trips to Zhangjiajie.
