Destination Details
Wuyi Mountains tie together "mountains, water, and tea": the red cliffs of the Danxia landform line the banks of the Nine-Bend Stream, and the weathered soil in the rock crevices grows Dahongpao. It is a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage site and also the type of Chinese landscape most easily understood by Chinese-speaking travelers—because tea is a familiar element.
