Longji Terraces Travel Guide
Ping'an Village · Jinkeng Large Village · Huangluo Yao Village
The Longji Rice Terraces are rice terraces cultivated by the Zhuang and Yao people on Longji Mountain for over six hundred years: in May, the paddies are like mirrors filled with water, and in September, the rice waves are golden. A trip usually takes one to two days, often combined with Guilin and Yangshuo for a 5–6 day itinerary.

Destination Details
The Longji Rice Terraces began to be cultivated during the Yuan Dynasty, with altitudes ranging from 300 meters to 1100 meters and a maximum slope of 50 degrees. They are the result of long-term negotiation between humans and the mountains, and are Guangxi's second famous landmark after the Li River.
