The blue of Namtso is the purest color in Tibet. It is located on the northern foot of the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains, with the lake surface at an altitude of nearly 4,700 meters. For many people, the first time they truly feel the 'plateau' is the moment they see the lake after passing through the Nagen La Pass.
