The value of Huangshan lies in 'staying on the mountain': sunset, starry sky, and sunrise—none of the three can be missed, and a same-day trip can only capture a third of it. As for Hongcun, you need to stay one night; the reflection on the water in the early morning is its best appearance.

Daily detail05:00 Wake up to watch the sunrise (arrangements for Bright Peak or Shixin Peak depending on the weather). The sea of clouds at sunrise at Huangshan is a rare sight, but even without clouds, the golden layer of light shining on the granite peaks is well worth it.

Daily detail07:00 Hongcun Early morning, the most iconic scene is the reflection of Nanhu Lake and Yue Zhao on the water, but tourists have not yet entered the village.
09:00 After breakfast, visit Chengzhi Hall and other Huizhou merchant mansions, with extremely exquisite wood carvings.
11:00 Choose between Xidi or Tunxi Old Street.
