FAQ

What is the best month to visit China? Is there a big difference between different regions?

There is a great difference, and there is no nationwide peak season. Northern China (Beijing, Xi'an) is best from April to May and September to October; the Jiangnan region from March to May and September to November; Yunnan and Sichuan from March to May and September to November, with Jiuzhaigou's golden window being from mid-October to mid-November; the Northwest and grasslands are comfortable only from June to September; Sanya from October to April of the following year; Harbin and the Snow Village are limited to winter from December to February of the following year. The periods to avoid are the Spring Festival, National Day holiday, and summer vacation, which are the three peak times for crowds.
